Amrita's foray into the glamour industry began during the lockdown in 2020, when she took time to reflect on her life and what she truly wanted to achieve. The high incidence of domestic violence at that time inspired her to find a platform to raise her voice for this important cause. It was then that she discovered the Mrs India Universe contest, which was working towards this cause, and decided to participate. She won the Mrs India Universe in 2021 which was held at the Luxurious Hyatt Regency in Gurugram, contesting among 60 finalists all over the world. Later, Amrita Tripathi also went onto win the title of Mrs Middle Asia and represented India in Seoul, South Korea in June 2022. Her journey in pageantry has been an unforgettable and rewarding experience, with Amrita earning widespread love and recognition. She credits her success to her patience, perseverance, and never-give-up spirit.

She has been actively taking part in the Food distribution in slum areas, and has distributed food to 11k + labourers during Covid-19 lockdown. Additionally, she also supports women empowerment and works towards eradicating domestic violence.
