Amitabh Bachchan apologises for not greeting people waiting outside Jalsa on his birthday; reveals why he could not
Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan turned 78 on Sunday. The actor usually comes out to wave to his fans on Sundays and on his birthday. Now, the actor has revealed through his blog why there was no Sunday viewing for the people who came to his residence Jalsa on his birthday.
“There is an apology today for the few that came by Jalsa, and they that bannered the street. My thanks to them and their efforts but I am just not allowed to step out and the care is mandatory, so apologies,” he wrote on his blog.
Amitabh Bachchan along with his son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and granddaughter Aaradhya Bachchan were diagnosed with coronavirus in August. Amitabh along with Abhsiehk was admitted to the hospital till they tested negative. After completing the mandatory quarantine post coming from the hospital, the senior actor resumed work.
In March, the actor had discontinued his Sunday darshan which has been a ritual for years. “To all Ef and well wishers an earnest request !PLEASE DO NOT COME TO JALSA GATE TODAY .. SUNDAY MEET am not going to come ! Take PRECAUTIONS .. be safe,” he wrote while announcing the same.
