Amid Rakhi celebrations, Sunny Deol opens up about his equation with Esha Deol

Not too long ago, Esha Deol missing the wedding of Sunny Deol’s elder son Karan Deol started garnering ample attention with many questioning the dynamics between this half brother-sister duo. However, recently, they put all these speculations to rest after Esha Deol posed with Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol at the special screening of Gadar 2. Now, during the Raksha Bandhan celebrations, Sunny was seen opening up about his equation with his father Dharmendra’s other family with Hema Malini.

In a recent interaction with Zoom, Sunny Deol, who often prefers to not talk about Hema Malini and his half-sisters, got candid about his relationship with them as he said, “Obviously, I’ve gone through lots of pain and agony beforehand, I’ve gone through a lot of processes but as I always say happiness can come and you won’t even know what pain and agony was. It just takes over you and you just forget all those things.”

 

He went on to add, “Years back we all used to think life is going to be a certain way. But when you start into your life, things change and then you’ve to adapt yourself to that. That’s why we say, films are fairy tales, life is not so. We want life to be like films but still, the beauty is in life itself where we accept it the way it is and not regret it, don’t hate it, let go of that negative energy and accept it.” In the same breath, he also asserted that he has always been cordial with Esha Deol. Esha too had earlier mentioned that the siblings are often respectful towards each other.

 

For the unversed, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol are sons of Dharmendra and his first wife Parkash Kaur. The legendary actor, later, married co-star and popular Bollywood actress Hema Malini and the couple has two daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol. However, the relation between the families has always been in the limelight since the brothers and sisters, even though cordial with each other, have refrained from celebrating festivals and family moments together.
