Alizeh Agnihotri credits Alia Bhatt as inspiration for choosing Farrey as Bollywood debut
Alizeh Agnihotri is set to mark her debut in the much-anticipated film, Farrey. The film's trailer has already captured attention. Ahead of the release of her debut film, she recently confessed that the driving force behind her decision to take on this particular project is none other than Alia Bhatt.
In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Alizeh opened up about her inspiration, citing Alia Bhatt's impactful performance in Highway as a pivotal moment in her decision-making process. Reflecting on the influence, she shared, "That film specifically was very impactful for me because I remember I was at a very impressionable age when I watched that, and it really hit me."
Alia Bhatt's versatility, transitioning from films like Student of the Year to more intense roles, left a lasting impression on Alizeh. She explained, "I felt like a girl who can do Student Of The Year can also do this. There's finally a space in this business where an actor can do both and be successful in both, and that really inspired me a lot."
Directed by Soumendra Padhi, Farrey features Alizeh Agnihotri alongside Zeyn Shaw, Prasanna Bisht, and Sahil Mehta. Scheduled for release on December 24, the film promises an interesting narrative that Alizeh believes will resonate with audiences, drawing parallels to the memorable impact Alia Bhatt's performances have had on her own journey in the world of cinema.
