Alia Bhatt is completely blown away by Ranbir Kapoor’s performance in Animal; reveals their daughter Raha took her first steps: “For taking such huge strides as an artist…”

Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna and Triptii Dimri, has released in theatres. Helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the ‘A’ rated violent crime saga has had a good opening at the box office. Alia Bhatt is heaping praises for Ranbir Kapoor for his craft, patience and taking huge strides as an artist.

In a special note on her Instagram, Alia Bhatt not only praised Ranbir Kapoor, she also revealed that their daughter Raha took her first steps today. She shared two photos, one from the Animal promotions and another one from their house where their daughter is sitting on lap as he reads her a book. She wrote, “For all that you are on and off camera. For the patience, silence and love you give your craft..& for the person you are to your family. For taking such huge strides as an artist..& for literally making our daughter take her first steps today.. For completely blowing us away your performance…& for making all of the above look so easy. Congratulations my not so little animal.”

 

 

 

In a note shared on her Instagram story, Alia Bhatt commended the team of Animal starting with the director. She said, “Sandeep Reddy Vanga there is NO ONE like you! The beats in this film are shocking, surprising, unreal and fully loaded .. goosebumps and iconic imagery for dayssssss @sandeepreddy.vanga.”

 

Praising Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Bobby Deol, she added, “@rashmika_mandanna you are so so so beautiful and honest in the film! As I told you in person.. I loved you in that scene - so special and inspiring. Fully joining the #crushmika club :) @iambobbydeol my most favourite - outstanding! You are just magic every time you are on screen 8k 8:k 8.t g And the one and only @anilskapoor - smashing it as always! Such an inspiration.”

 

She further said, “Congratulations to the entire cast - phenomenal performances that truly make the whole world come to life! @tripti_dimri @shaktikapoor,” and ended it with the post-credit scene details about the sequel Animal Park. She concluded, “You'll have hit it out of the park and right into the animal park.”

 

 

Animal released on December 1, 2023. From the looks of the post-credit scene, Sandeep Reddy Vanga seems to be planning a sequel called Animal Park.
