Alfia Jafry chooses OTT debut, calls it a space for creative freedom and risk-taking
Alfia Jafry is set to make her acting debut with The Pyramid Scheme, choosing the OTT space as her entry point into the industry. The actor believes the digital medium offers greater creative freedom and opportunities to explore layered storytelling.
Speaking about her decision, Alfia said, “OTT gives actors the freedom to experiment with nuanced storytelling, and that’s something I truly value as a performer. You get to explore characters in depth, take creative risks, and be part of stories that are not restricted by conventional formats.” She added that this flexibility played a key role in shaping her debut choice. “I wanted my debut to be something where I could really push myself and not be confined to a certain image or expectation. OTT allows that space, it encourages you to be real, to be subtle, and to truly immerse yourself in the character,” she said.
With The Pyramid Scheme, Alfia steps into a narrative that demands emotional depth and authenticity, positioning it as a project that aligns with her approach to acting.
