Akshay Kumar thanks the army, Mumbai Police and all essential workers tirelessly working day and night amid coronavirus pandemic
India is currently under lockdown to help contain the spread of coronavirus. There has been a rapid increase in COVID-19 patients. But, medical professionals are working tirelessly to keep everyone safe. Even Army, Mumbai Police among others are working day and night focusing on the health of the citizens.
Bollywood celebrities like Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ayushmann Khurrana and others have thanked the Mumbai Police for their service. Akshay Kumar took to twitter to share a photo with a caption read, "Name : Akshay Kumar City : Mumbai ...Mere aur mere parivaar ki taraf se... Police, Nagar Nigam ke workers, doctors, nurses, NGOs, volunteers, government officials, vendors, building ke guards ko #DilSeThankYou."
He also shared a video and said, “There’s an army of people working day and night to keep us safe, our families safe. Lets together say #DilSeThankYou to them because that’s the least we can do. @my_bmc #MumbaiPolice.”
Akshay Kumar has donated Rs. 25 crores to PM-Cares Fund in the fight against coronavirus.
