Akshay Kumar receives Parsi token of love, a Zorastrian pendant
We had earlier reported that Akshay Kumar will be meeting the Parsi community during his recent US visit as a part of the promotions of his forthcoming film Rustom. Not only was the actor looking forward to enjoy a scrumptious meal but also the warm hospitality of the Parsi community and he wasn't disappointed. What also happened during this event was a mispronunciation that left everyone rather surprised wherein Akshay Kumar was being addressed as Sanjay Kumar. A source claimed that one of the priests of the community mistakenly called Akshay Kumar as Sanjay Kumar whilst reciting prayers. While the actor took the incident in his stride, the priest was upset about this incident and continued to apologise to the actor, added the source. Later, we hear that the superstar was also presented with a pendant of Asho Farohar or Faravahar (one of the symbols of Zorastrianism).
Rustom also stars Ileana D'Cruz, Esha Gupta, Arjan Bajwa among others and is slated to release on August 12.
