Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare host a pajama party; groom dances on Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Lungi Dance’
Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare seem to be loving their unconventional wedding. From the groom arriving in shorts for their registered marriage to hosting a pajama party, the couple along with their families have decided to keep their pre-wedding festivities a unique blend of modern and traditional celebrations. While they hosted the quintessential mehendi a day before their wedding in Udaipur, the couple has also a dinner party and a pajama party ahead of the main ceremony.
While we got a glimpse of the dinner party, which was western themed cocktail celebrations of sorts with live orchestra and music, yet another celebration was hosted by Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare, a day prior to the wedding post the mehendi ceremony in the form of a pajama party. Actress Sarah Jane Dias, who is also a part of the celebrations, decided to give everyone a sneak peek into this bash where guests arrived in comfy pajamas and danced their heart out. Even the seating arrangements were done keeping the theme in mind as, mattresses were laid on the floor as people celebrated all night, soaking in the music and celebratory vibe.
Apart from a fun couple dance by Ira and Nupur, her cousin Zayn Marie and a few friends also put up a live singing performance. In fact, groom Nupur was in a jovial mode and flaunted his dance moves as he performed on ‘Lungi Dance’ with the rest of the guests joining him.
Meanwhile, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare are all set to tie the knot in Taj Lake Palace, Udaipur on January 10. The couple is also expected to host two lavish receptions in Mumbai for fraternity friends, and relatives.
