Aamir Khan voluntarily edits out a funny scene featuring Vir Das in Happy Patel
Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan is leaving no stone unturned to ensure his new project Happy Patel Khatarnak Jasoos turns out just right.
It has come to light that Aamir decided to cut an entire sequence after the film was given its censor certificate.
Aamir confirmed saying, “Vir and I decided to cut one scene to improve the pace of the film. We had to re-submit the film to the CBFC (Central Board Of Film Certification) on Tuesday and we got our revised censor certificate the same evening.”
Elaborating on the cut scene, Aamir revealed, “It’s a funny scene filmed on Vir. But we felt it was holding the pace back. It was a 90-second scene. But because of its placement in the screenplay, it was serving as a speed breaker and slowed the overall pace. So, we felt we were better off without it.”
