Box Office: Munna Michael brings Rs. 2.15 crore on Wednesday, Lipstick Under My Burkha stays good with Rs. 1.27 crore

 

Munna Michael is continuing to see a downwards trend as numbers are slipping with every passing day. On Wednesday, the film brought in Rs. 2.15 crore, hence bringing the overall total to Rs. 29.72 crore. Even though the film had dropped on Monday (when compared to Friday), one would have expected some kind of hold - albeit on the lower side - for the film. One now waits to see how much of a fall would the film evidence on Friday since Mubarakan, which is catering to family audiences, is set to find an open platform for itself. Tiger Shroff would have yet another film of his cross the Rs. 30 crore mark but unfortunately this one won't be covering much of a distance in the lifetime run.

 

As for Lipstick Under My Burkha, one can't really put a finger on the film's eventual total. Yes, it would go past the Rs. 20 crore mark, considering the fact that Wednesday too brought in Rs. 1.27 crore (which is bigger than Day One of Rs. 1.22 crore) and the overall total stands at Rs. 9.71 crore. However, such kind of films sometimes end up running for a longer than expected period. Of course one can't see a Hindi Medium in the making which went from a Rs. 2.81 crore opening day to Rs. 69.50 crore lifetime. After all that was a family film and hence had much bigger audience segment. However, in the niche world, LUMB should so well!
