Box Office: Mubarakan becomes Arjun Kapoor 5th highest opening weekend grosser

In this box office analysis we take a look at the opening weekend collections of Mubarakan while comparing the same to Arjun Kapoor’s previously released films. Collecting Rs. 22.91 cr on its opening weekend, Mubarakan becomes Arjun Kapoor’s fifth highest opening weekend grosser. Though the film doesn’t surpass the actor’s previous releases like Gunday that had collected Rs. 43.93 cr, 2 States that collected Rs. 38.06 cr, Half Girlfriend that collected Rs. 32.04 cr, and Ki & Ka that collected Rs. 25.23 cr, it does out beat the Arjun Kapoor's other films like Tevar that collected Rs. 22.05 cr, Finding Fanny that collected Rs. 19.90 cr and Ishaqzaade that collected Rs. 15.91 cr.

 

Given the fact that Mubarakan, despite opening on a slow note on Friday has been witnessing growth each day in terms of business, if the film maintains the current momentum over the coming weekdays, it is expected to post good opening week figures.
