Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Box Office Occupancy Report Day 2: Enjoys superb trending; likely to collect around Rs. 17 cr.

The Anees Bazmee directorial Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani was released yesterday. After immense promotions the film opened with a bang with advance booking indicating a highly positive trend. Collecting Rs. 14.11 cr. on Day 1 the Bhushan Kumar – Murad Khetani production that has taken off to a flying start seems to be enjoying superb trending on Day 2 as well.

As per reports, morning shows of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 have indicated an occupancy rate of 35-40%. If that wasn’t all, the advance bookings for the film on its second day have recorded nearly Rs. 7 cr. gross from ticket sales. This coupled with the fact that evening and night shows of the film will see more spot bookings, with family audience flocking theatres, it is estimated that the film could see its second day collections hovering around the Rs. 17-18 cr. mark.

 

With little competition from the previous releases, and the other new release Dhaakad not affecting the film much, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 that has released across 3200 screens in India is expected to see a massive jump in collections. Going by trade predictions, the business of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will see further growth on its second day with collections peaking on Day 3. At the current rate, the film could easily cross the Rs. 50 cr. mark by the end of its opening weekend.
