Bharat Box Office Collections: Bharat becomes Salman Khan’s 3rd highest opening week grosser
Bharat starring Salman Khan in the lead role released on Eid last week. Enjoying a massive release across 4000 screens and a five day extended opening weekend the business of Bharat was setting new benchmarks.
Not after a week’s run, we take a look at the opening week collections of Bharat while comparing the same to Salman Khan’s previous releases. Though Bharat was one of the most anticipated releases of 2019 the film has managed to become Salman Khan’s third highest opening week grosser with a collections of Rs. 179.1 cr. In fact, the business of Bharat does not manage to surpass the actor’s previous releases like Tiger Zinda Hai that collected Rs. 206.04 cr and Bajrangi Bhaijaan that collected Rs. 184.62 cr. On the other hand the business of Bharart does manage to perform better than some of Salma Khan’s previous releases like Prem Ratan Dhan Payo that collected Rs. 172.82 cr, Kick that collected Rs. 164.09 cr, Ek Tha Tiger that collected Rs. 154.21 cr, Race 3 that collected Rs. 144.51 cr, Bodyguard that collected Rs. 115 cr, Tubelight that collected Rs. 106.86 cr, and Dabangg 2 that collected Rs. 106.78 cr.
Now all that remains to be seen is whether Bharat does go on to become one of Salman Khan’s highest grosser.
