SRK pays 4.4 cr to his captain, Preity pays 4.3 cr
This is one BIG scoop And remember, you read it on IndiaFM first! Two of the biggest names of Bollywood are all set to hit headlines. There are whispers that Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar are planning to join hands and produce films together.
SRK, who has produced films with Juhi Chawla and Aziz Mirza [PHIR BHI DIL HAI HINDUSTANI, ASOKA], UTV [CHALTE CHALTE] and Venus [MAIN HOON NA], has now struck a deal with Yash Johar and Karan Johar's Dharma Productions to make films in the future.
While SRK had been out of town [shooting for Ashutosh Gowariker's SWADES and Yash Chopra's as-yet-untitled film] and Karan is busy attending film festivals and winning accolades and honours for KAL HO NAA HO, the deal is yet to be signed, sealed and delivered.
Yes, you've heard it right, Karan confirms the development, Shah Rukh and I are planning collaborations, but we've yet to complete the modalities. He [SRK] has been out of town since the past few months and has just returned to Mumbai today [Monday, March 29]. Like I said, we've yet to iron out the nitty-gritties.
Though SRK and Karan's first joint venture might take some time to take off [since SRK is busy with the pre-release plans of MAIN HOON NA, while Karan is working on the script of his film, besides starting a film with his erstwhile assistant Soham Shah], there's a possibility that the project might roll by the end of this year.
I really can't comment on the time-frame. A clear picture will emerge in the next ten days, is all that Karan is ready to divulge at this juncture. Watch this space!
