Sarhad Paar add-ons to the film

First Vande Mataram was shelved in sync with the current improving relations between India and Pakistan film industry. And now it's Sarhad Paar which is trying to do adapt itself to the present harmony between the two countries. The film based on Indo-Pak relations, which has been under making for quite some time now (the Indo-Pak theme was a hit then) is 90% complete now. However, Akash Khurana, the CEO of the film's production house, Nimbus Communications, feels that with the recent calming relations between the two countries they should incorporate some new aspects to their film. However, he confesses that there are no political motivations behind his move but merely a possibility of a new market from Pakistani territories. But since the film is 90% complete including the climax, there's no possibility of changes in the script. So the new aspect would come in as some addition to the existing film. And the add-ons may come in form of Sarhad Paar artistes being included in the film. The filmmakers are toying with the idea of incorporating a Pakistani actor or a song by the Pakistani music band Josh in their film. Director Raman Kumar however clarified that his film is not anti-Pakistan but anti-terrorism.
