Rework on Budget:

If Bokadia is adopting a wait-n-watch stance, Ramesh Taurani of Tips is all set to start two more projects, come January 2003. At the moment, the paperwork is in progress, Taurani tells me, It's no point starting a film just for the heck of it, without working on the current structure of payments in mind. Most films releasing these days have been made on old budgets, with inflated figures, but where is the recovery in the current scenario? Taurani adds that the remuneration of just about everyone in the film industry needs to be revised before a producer thinks of embarking on a new project. The money has to be right, otherwise the grim scenario will continue to persist, he states.
