Some time back we had reported that Jaiprakash, one-time assistant to Saawan Kumar, was attempting a film on the life of sex workers and was toying with the idea of discussing the central role with several accomplished actresses. But from what we gather, he has pencilled Manisha Koirala for the main role. That's true, Jai confirms the development, I've signed Manisha for the film. She liked the story immensely. Two more names are in the process of finalisation. Although Jai is tight-lipped about the two names, it's learnt that he has approached Yukta Mookhey and Shweta Menon for the roles. Incidentally, Jai plans to launch the film in a red light area, just like CHANDNI BAR was launched in a real bar!
