It has worked for J. Om Prakash, Mohan Kumar and Rakesh Roshan. The makers have always made films starting with a particular alphabet and a majority of their films have worked at the box-office. Joining them now is Jeetendra, his wife Shobha and daughter Ekta. Story goes that an astrologer told Jeetendra that anything starting with the alphabet 'K' would work to his benefit. And lo! KYONKI... SAAS BHI KABHI BAHU THI, KAHANI GHAR GHAR KII, KALASH, KOSHISH EK ASHA, KANYADAAN... the TRPs of all these serials, produced by Balaji Telefilms, showed a meteoric rise. So it was obvious that Jeetendra would title his film, starring Govinda, Sushmita Sen and Rambha, with the same alphabet K. However, the actor decided to title the film SAJAN RE JHOOTH MAT BOLO, keeping in mind the character essayed by Govinda in the film (the film is inspired by the Jim Carrey starrer LIAR LIAR). But Jeetendra has decided to rename the film now. Yes, the title has been changed to KYONKII... MAIN JHUTH NAHIN BOLTA. Like they say, nothing succeeds like success!
