Katrina Kaif injured on the sets of Fitoor

Katrina Kaif, who is on a new high about her Cannes debut this year, faced an accident on the sets of her upcoming film Fitoor. During a horse riding sequence, the actress nearly fell off the horse and injured herself.

Katrina Kaif is trained in horse riding and hence, the makers decided to put her skills to use in one of the scenes in Fitoor. Everything started off on a good note and the crew was stationed at a distance owing to the space required for the shot. However, during the take, while Katrina was riding the horse, she suddenly lost her balance and she almost fell off. Though she continued the scene after retaining her balance, Katrina Kaif, later realized that she had ended up hurting her neck and leg in the process. Director Abhishek Kapoor, who on one side was worried about the actress' health, was mighty impressed with her professional attitude and stated that she truly proved to be hardworking.

 

Produced by UTV-Disney, Fitoor also stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Rekha in prominent roles and is slated to release on February 12, 2016.
