Jewellery designer alleges Akbar Khan played dirty

After being in the making for almost three years, Akbar Khans ambitious project, Taj Mahal is finally ready for release. Unfortunately, the movie finds itself in a controversy, even before it releases. Tejas Jugani, the jewellery designer of the film is hopping mad because his name does not figure in the credits of the film. Adding to that, Anna Singh has been given the credits. According to Akbar Khan, Anna Singh is the designer of the film and Jugani was one of the many people working on the jewellery. But Jugani has a different story altogether. Having worked in films like Hum Aapke Hai Koun, Dil To Paagal Hai and Lamhe, he says that he along with a 14 member team worked hard on the designs. When he confronted Akbar Khan, he was told that it was too late to add his name in the credits.
