IS RIKKU TRYING TO BRING 'YEH DIL ASHIQANA' BEFORE 'PAAGALPAN'?:

Although the promos of PAAGALPAN are already on air, there is talk that Rikku, father of Karan Nath, is trying to rush up YEH DIL ASHIQANA, so that the latter is released first. A section of the trade press also went on record to state that in all probability, Y.D.A. will release before PAAGALPAN and that Kuku Kohli was trying to speed up the post-production work to meet the deadline. "That's not true," Rikku denied the news vehemently when we quizzed him about it, adding, "If I wanted to play games, Karan would've shot for PAAGALPAN at a leisurely pace. Jo naseeb mein hoga, woh hokar rahege." On his part, Kuku Kohli clarified that he was in no hurry to finish the post-production of his film. "See, it's a known fact that I started my film first, but I don't want to hurry up and spoil things. YEH DIL ASHIQANA will release in August, not before." In the meanwhile, Joy Augustine, director of PAAGALPAN, has already fixed the release date of his film -- 1st June. "I won't shift. My release date is final," he says firmly.
