Akshay Kumar will soon be taking action to the next level with his forthcoming film. In fact the makers of the film have roped in Hollywood action director Greg Powell (of Skyfall fame) for the film.

Tentatively titled Pistol, the film is the Hindi remake of Tamil thriller Thuppakki (2012). Directed by AR Murugadoss of Ghajini fame, it features Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles and is slated for release in January next year.
