Emraan Hashmi plays porn filmmaker in Shanghai

Emraan Hashmi fondly known as Bollywood's "Serial Kisser" will now be seen playing a porn filmmaker in Dibakar Banerjee's upcoming film Shanghai.

 

In the film, Emraan plays the character of a small town Punjabi boy Jogi Parmar, who is a wheeler-dealer who shoots marriage videos during the day and porn films at night.

When we asked Emraan Hashmi about his "promotion" from a serial kisser to a porn filmmaker, he replied cheekily, "Yes, that is quite a progression. Jogi shoots porn films after 12 in the night. I used to kiss girls in the morning and now I shoot porn films at night."

 

Surprisingly, Emraan doesn't have any intimate scenes in this film. He says, "Yes, I don't have any intimate scenes in this film. I have done something really different in this film. At a time I can do only one thing with my lips, I can either chew paan or kiss but in this film I chew paan."

 

Shanghai is a political thriller and also stars Abhay Deol, Kalki Koechlin, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Farooq Sheikh and Pitobash Tripathy. The film will hit the theatres on June 8, 2012.
