If you are a celebrity, you had to be there. If you are a die-hard Bollywood fan, you would love this place. We aren't talking about an award function or the inauguration of a new multiplex in Mumbai, but about a new nightspot named after Bollywood. The who's who of Mumbai from socialites to businessmen to professionals to film luminaries to ad world biggies rubbed shoulders with each other at the launch of 'Sutra The Bollywood Lounge' on December 17 at Intercontinental The Grand, Sahar. The mood was upbeat and the music, of course Bollywood. From 'Kaanta Laga' to the 'Berry' tracks, the crowd had a blast as drinks and munches made rounds of this spacious, stylish lounge. The launch party gathered momentum only after midnight as guests kept flowing in from Nariman Point to Juhu to Lokhandwala Complex The glitterati and chatterati of Mumbai had a whale of a time at this do! The suave Kunika, who wears many hats [AIDS activist, television host, senior producer of Sahara Samay Mumbai], played the perfect host. Her networking and the goodwill that she enjoys were responsible for the terrific turnout.
