Big BFarhan Akhtar At Loggerheads?:

Director Farhan Akhtar is annoyed with a section of the press for spreading malicious rumours about a showdown between the Big B and Farhan on the sets of the film-maker's new film LAKSHYA. Reportedly, when Amitabh forgot his dialogues while performing a sequence from the film, the actor is reported to have said, 'Cut, cut, cut.' At that point, Farhan got up from his chair and told the veteran actor that it was the director's job to say 'cut', not the actor's. But things really went from bad to worse when Farhan reportedly told the senior actor that if he finds it difficult to remember the lines, he [Farhan] wouldn't mind coming an hour early everyday to rehearse the lines with the actor. Reportedly, the incident occurred in front of the entire unit, which stood speechless after Farhan misbehaved in this manner. So when this writer bumped into Farhan at the screening of a film and asked him to clarify his stand, Farhan was more than willing to talk about it. Over to Farhan: "I really don't know how to react to such rumours. The first time I heard it, I let it go. Who'd believe such rubbish, I thought. It was no point fanning such rumours by clarifying them, but things have reached such a stage that it's high time I set the record straight. "I immediately called on Mr. Bachchan so that it doesn't lead to misunderstandings later. Even he was shocked to hear the rumours. Believe me, there's not an iota of truth to it. We had a great time in our last schedule [the film is 40% complete at present] and we're embarking on a 90-day schedule of the film in Leh. It wouldn't have been possible if there were misunderstandings between us. "No one can ever misbehave with such a senior actor. Our family has known each other for a long time now, so there's no question of a rift between us." This exclusive clarification should put an end to all rumours, let's hope.
