Akshay to attend Delhi-Punjab hockey match

For all you hockey lovers please do not be surprised if you see Akshay Kumar standing amidst the audiences tomorrow at the famous Major Dhyanchand Stadium when Delhi Waveriders take on Jaypee Punjab Warriors in their Hockey India League game. If the buzz is to be believed, then, Akki will be performing a small jig during the half time.

 

Narinder Batra (Secretary General- Hockey India and HIL's chairman) said that it's good that eminent personalities from varied fields are visiting stadiums across cities to watch the league in action. Hockey has been sensational and informed Indian audiences have reacted positively. He added that they have seen an upswing in stadium attendance across all five cities and that they will welcome Akshay Kumar with open arms.
