Aamir Khan's shoulder spasm did not affect schedule in Ludhiana

Aamir Khan is now wrestling with a shoulder injury that he got while trying to be authentic as a Haryanvi wrestler in Nitish Tiwari's Dangal on location in Ludhiana (Punjab).

 

But, it's not as serious as the over-enthusiastic PR machinery would like the world to believe.

Says a source from the location. "Aamir Khan did not collapse on location. Nothing that dramatic happened. Everything to do with him these days is blown out of proportion. If Aamir gets over-emotional for no seeming reason, his team seems equally over-the-top determined to generate interest."

 

Says a member of the core team of Dangal, "Aamir did have a mishap. He suffered a shoulder spasm. And yes, he was in a lot of pain. But he didn't collapse or anything. The sequence that was being shot was wrapped up and we all dispersed."

 

Informs the source, "We are done with the Ludhiana schedule. And we've left the city. The next schedule is yet to be decided."
