3 Idiots’ actor Akhil Mishra passes away at 67
Actor Akhil Mishra, popularly known as librarian Dubey in the Aamir Khan film 3 Idiots, passed away at the age of 67.
According to a report by PTI, a publicist for Suzanne said, "He was on a chair in the kitchen trying to do something when he fell down and hurt his head and back. He was later rushed to the hospital by the family and neighbours. He was still coherent while going to the hospital. And then internal haemorrhage started. Despite the doctor's best efforts, he could not be saved."
Mishra was also a part of several TV shows, including Bhanwar, Uttaran, Udaan, CID, Shrimaan Shrimati, Bharat Ek Koj, Rajani, and many others.
Cine & TV Artistes' Association (CINTAA) expressed its condolences on the demise of Mishra.
