As the Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra is slated to release on September 9, the film is expected to set the cash registers ringing. Ahead of the release of the film, actor Mouni Roy who also features in the film exclusively spoke about it with Bollywood Hungama. When asked if she keeps a track on the box office trends of films, the Gold actor quickly responded with a no. Explaining further, Roy added, “I haven’t done so much work in films as well to kind of have an understanding of what really happens.”

However, the Naagin fame actor called herself an “aware person” and said, “I get to know which film did well and which didn’t, but I am not somebody who keeps a track”. Apart from this, Mouni talked about working with Ayan Mukerji. While sharing her experience, she called Ayan a “saint”. The actor recalled that whenever she hit a roadblock during the shooting of Brahmastra, Mukerji came forward to help her.

The 36-year-old actor said, “I remember him coming and giving me adjectives.” On the other hand, she also shared her experience of working with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Calling the duo “fire”, Mouni went on to say, “they are very natural and spontaneous.” Concluding her conversation, Mouni requested her fans with “heaving breaths and folded hands” to watch Brahmastra. For the unversed, Mouni Roy will be seen playing the antagonist in Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva.

Produced by Dharma Productions, Brahmastra is one of the most-awaited Bollywood films. The upcoming fantasy adventure film is the first part of the trilogy written and created by Ayan Mukerji. Along with the lead star cast, veteran actors such as Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna Akkineni will also be seen playing pivotal characters.
