Chiranjeevi and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy to release on October 2

After wrapping up two back to back projects - Chehre and Gulabo Sitabo, Amitabh Bachchan is taking rest before he kickstarts his next schedule of Brahmastra. But, meanwhile, his Telugu film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy has a release date now. The film is set to release on October 2.

Chiranjeevi made the big announcement about his upcoming film during a magazine interview with his daughter-in-law Upasana Konidela. During the interview with wellness magazine B Positive, he said, "It has always been my dream to play Bhagat Singh. Despite being offered the role back in the day, I couldn't play it for several reasons and it was later played by several of my counterparts. It was played by several actors across languages. I regret missing out on an opportunity to play the role because I don't think anyone wants to make a film on him today."
