Earlier this morning, the world woke up to the news of the demise of Hugh Hefner, the enigmatic founder of Playboy. Hefner became famous for his ‘Playboy Image’ that became a trend over the years. The Playboy magazine featured some of the biggest female celebrities from the West. Interestingly, an Indian actress also shot for the magazine few years ago.
Yes, it was actress Sherlyn Chopra who became the first Indian actress to feature in the magazine. The actress posed completely nude for the magazine and broke the internet when the images came out few years back.
Reminiscing about the same earlier today, Sherlyn Chopra took to social networking site Instagram sharing an image of her meeting with Hefner saying, “#restinpower #restinpeace #hughhefner #trailblazer A true #visionary who chose to not conform to the #dogma set by the self-proclaimed guardians of the society but instead followed his #bliss by acting on his #excitement consistently”.
Apart from this, the model turned actress Sherlyn Chopra also commented that while it was surely an experience meeting Hefner, the man in real life was a far cry from his on screen persona.
