Coolie surprise: Aamir Khan gets introduced as ‘Dahaa’ in Rajinikanth starrer action thriller : Bollywood News

The highly anticipated action-drama Coolie, starring superstar Rajinikanth and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, has dropped a surprise that has set social media buzzing. The makers have officially unveiled the first look of Bollywood actor Aamir Khan in the film, introducing him as Dahaa through a striking monochrome poster.

Keeping with the film’s established swag and gangster vibe, Aamir Khan is seen in the poster sporting a rugged look — wearing a ganji and denims, accessorised with a neckpiece, ear stud, bright golden watch, and visible tattoos. He is also seen smoking a pipe, adding to the raw intensity of his character. The poster was released on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption:

The surprise reveal comes just weeks after Aamir Khan confirmed his cameo during an interview with Zoom, while promoting Sitaare Zameen Par. Speaking about his role in Coolie, Aamir shared, “I really enjoyed doing it. I am big fan of Rajini sir…huge fan. I have a lot of love and respect for Rajini sir. So, I did not even hear the script. When Lokesh told me that it is a Rajini sir’s movie and that he wanted me to do a cameo, I said, ‘Done. I am doing it. Whatever it is, I am doing it.’”
