The film has held on well enough to go past the Rs. 40 crore mark by tomorrow and then eventually settle down in the vicinity of Rs. 50 crore as its lifetime score. This one is a profitable venture for all involved and should also find good traction on satellite, especially the sports channels, due to its timeless appeal.
Hindi Medium is continuing to do well in its own world where it has a target audience. The film collected Rs. 2.22 crore more on Tuesday and has now crossed the Rs. 40 crore mark. The film has accumulated Rs. 41.77 crore so far and by the time the second week is through, its total should have gone past the Rs. 45 crore mark comfortably. It should eventually touch the Rs. 55 crore mark though Rs. 60 crore would now be a stretch.
Half Girlfriend has already crossed the Rs. 55 crore milestone and currently stands at Rs. 57 crore* after gathering Rs. 70 lacs* more on Tuesday. The film should have a couple of more days where it would collect in the upwards of Rs. 50 lacs. However, with as many as 7-8 films releasing this Friday, it would witness a large reduction in screens. It should eventually manage to just about touch the 60 crore mark. Average.
