Post the stupendous success of the KGF franchise, Kannada superstar Yash has garnered an immense fan following both locally and globally. His character of ‘Rocky Bhai’ has indeed become iconic and his fans couldn’t stop gushing about his persona. Now that the second chapter was unveiled two years ago, fans can’t wait to see the star return to theatres, especially after he announced his next venture Toxic. Now that the actor has kicked off shooting for the same, the excitement has been palpable.
Recently, the social media went into frenzy as a few images from the sets of Toxic found its way online. The leaked photos feature Yash in a Maroon tee and a black sunglass, sporting a rugged look as he is engaged in some interesting conversation with the team including the film’s director Geeta Mohandas. Fans on social media couldn’t hold their excitement and dropped comments about their eager anticipation for his next. One of the fans commented, “"Our Rocking Star is in action! Although not many details have been revealed, Toxic is expected to be set against the backdrop of drug mafia and reports suggest that it will be extensively shot in Goa. If these reports are to be believed, Sai Pallavi is said to be the leading lady with actress-singer Shruti Haasan, who also lent the voice for the announcement teaser of the film, will also play a pivotal role. Produced by KVN Productions, the makers are aiming to release it on April 10, 2025.
