Taking the highly acclaimed franchise Goodachari to the next level, Pan-India star Adivi Sesh promised to feature high-octane drama and extensive sets in G2. While fans are excited to see what the star has in store for them in this highly anticipated sequel, the actor teased his social media followers about sharing an announcement about the film on January 7. The actor mentioned that he would be revealing the name of the leading lady on Tuesday and took to his social media handle to announce about Wamiqa Gabbi joining the star cast.

Adivi Sesh announces Wamiqa Gabbi as his partner-in-crime

Confirming the same, Adivi Sesh took to X aka Twitter to share the good news about Wamiqa Gabbi joining him as his partner-in-crime as he said, “My partner in c?r?i?m?e? adventure ???? Welcome to the mission, #WamiqaGabbi.. It's gonna be amazing to run with you in Europe! THUNDER GLIMPSE loading this Month”.

Wamiqa Gabbi shares excitement about joining G2

Climbing the ladder of success with her power-packed roles in the Amazon series Jubilee, Netflix movie Khufiya, and recently with the Varun Dhawan starrer Baby John, Wamiqa has established herself as a renowned star in the world of cinema. Amid her many interesting projects already lined up for 2025, the actress has now confirmed about playing the leading lady in the Adivi Sesh starrer G2 where she will be paired up with the Major actor for the first time.

Sharing her excitement to Variety online, Gabbi said, “I’m beyond excited to be part of the incredible journey of G2. The first film set a remarkable benchmark, and stepping into this world is both thrilling and challenging. Working with such a talented cast and crew inspires me to push boundaries and bring fresh energy to my character. I can’t wait for the audience to experience what we’re crafting – it’s going to be extraordinary.”

Also starring Emraan Hashmi in the lead role, G2 is expected to be an action thriller promising to take audiences on a ride filled with adrenaline-pumping stunts. Earlier reports also suggested that Banita Sandhu will be a part of the film. While the actress too had shared her happiness about being a part of the entertainer, further details on her character are awaited.
