The actor, in the midst of his country tour for Dear Comrade promotions, visited many cities including Mumbai and needless the crowed thronged around him everywhere. It was no different during one such event that he attended recently where a female fan got overwhelmed meeting him.

In fact, whilst the actor was on a South tour for the film’s promotions, needless to say, there has been chaos as fans were waiting to catch a glimpse of him. During one such promotional event, Vijay was more than happy to meet all his female fans and when one of them got emotional seeing him. He not only hugged her but also pacified her. His gesture has earned him even more fans, we had say!

On the other hand, Dear Comrade, that also stars Rashmika Mandanna has opened in theatres to mixed reviews. Interestingly, the rights for the film have already been bought for a Bollywood remake. Vijay was recently in Mumbai to meet Karan Johar who bought the rights of his recent release and during the same. Dear Comrade is directed by Bharat Kamma and the film was dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada too.
