The bereaved family of Vijay Antony continue to remember their late daughter Meera Vijay fondly after the latter died by suicide last month. After Vijay Antony, his wife Fatima took to social media to share a heartwarming note, remembering her teenage daughter fondly. Followed by her post, many of the social media users reached out to her and shared their deepest condolences and were seen expressing their support to the grief stricken mother.

Fatima took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share a photo of the late Meera Vijay and also posted a note about how she would have protected her from everything that would cause her even the slightest of a challenge, further requesting her to comeback for the sake of her and her husband. In the teary-eyed note, the grieving mother expressed her love for her daughter saying, “If I’d known u will live only for 16 yrs, I would have just kept u very very close to me,not even shown you to the sun and moon,am drowning and dying with ur thoughts,can’t live without you ,come back to babba and amma.laara keeps waiting for u,love u Thangam?” After she posted this grieving note, many netizens came to lend her support. Amid many who shared ‘Stay Strong’ message, one of them described a mother’s pure love saying, “Mother's love is deeper than the deepest ocean.. no words to describe your grief Fathima mam.. sending you and your family all the strength to bear this loss. Meera is always with you”.

In the earlier note shared by Vijay Anthony on the platform, the actor-singer expressed his grief by hoping that his daughter is now in a peaceful place. He had also revealed how he would start every good and noble deed in her name.

Vijay’s daughter Meera Vijay passed away during the wee hours of September 19. The teenage girl is expected to have found hanging at their residence and was declared dead on the way to the hospital.
