Popular actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, daughter of Indian actor-politician Sarathkumar, will soon be tying the knot with Mumbai-based art gallerist Nicholai Sachdev, after the couple got engaged earlier this year. On June 6, the actress along with her family including stepmother Radhika Sarathkumar visited Rajinikanth, his wife Latha, and daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth recently and not just that, she also took to social media to talk about the experience.

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar took to social media to share photos of the two families bonding and along with that, she also expressed happiness over the chance she received to invite them for her wedding. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, Varalaxmi posted photos with Rajinikanth, his wife Latha, as well as their daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth, and in the caption, she appreciated them saying, “Got to meet our thalaivar @rajinikanth sir and invite him and latha aunty...thank you sir for always being so warm and loving..thank you @ash_rajinikanth for veinf so sweet as always..the apple didn't fall far from the tree.”

On the other hand, Varalaxmi was accompanied by her father Sarathkumar, her mother Chaya Devi, her sister Pooja Sarathkumar, her stepmother Radhika Sarathkumar, and stepsister Rayane who is married to Indian cricketer Abhimanyu Mithun.

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar announced her engagement with Nicholas Sachev in March on social media and also shared photos and videos from their traditional ceremony.

On the work front, she kicked off her film career with Tamil Cinema in 2012, and since then, she has acted in almost all South language films including Kannada, Malayalam, and Telugu. She is currently gearing up for the release of Dhanush starrer Raayan in which she is expected to feature in a small but pivotal role.
