Tiger Nageswara Rao: Teaser of Ravi Teja starrer gives a sneak-peek into the brutal world of the most feared thief

We have earlier revealed about Ravi Teja featuring in the power packed role of Tiger Nageswara Rao. After unveiling the first look poster earlier this year, the makers have now unveiled the teaser to give audiences a glimpse of India’s biggest thief and feared dacoit. The much-awaited teaser of Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s Pan India project under the direction of Vamsee called Tiger’s Invasion is out now.

The teaser introduces Anupam Kher as an IB officer and Murali Sharma as the DSP with the film set in the backdrop of the 70s. The video kicks off with a news report regarding Stuartpuram thief Tiger Nageswara Rao who is known for ill-famed robberies in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, and many other parts of the country getting absconded from Madras Central Jail. The DSP, who worked in this ‘Tiger Zone’, lists down the skills of Tiger Nageswara Rao as he reveals that while he is intelligent enough to excel any field ranging from politics to military, he decided to be a criminal. Audiences also get a glimpse into the journey of the thief, when he began being involved in major crimes since his childhood, as the police and the army battalion attempt every trick in the book to nab him.

A source close to the film revealed that the makers wanted to give only glimpses of Ravi Teja. “Though we don’t get to see his face till the last portions, his presence is felt all through and to make his entry look interesting and engaging, we decided to add the train episode. To be honest, we can’t imagine any other star in the titular role in it. From undergoing transformation to portraying the character, he has been exceptional. With powerful dialogues written by Srikanth Vissa is the dialogue writer and Director Vamsee doing extensive prep for the film, expectations are riding high.”

With Nupur Sanon and Gayathri Bharadwaj playing leading ladies, the rest of the team includes R Madhie as the cinematographer, Avinash Kolla as the production designer, Mayank Singhaniya as the co-producer and the music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar. Produced by Abhishek Agarwal under the banner of Abhishek Agarwal Arts, it is slated for release on October 20 during the occasion of Dussehra.
