Mammootty kicks off Rahul Sadasivan’s directorial Bramayugam; makers unveil poster : Bollywood News

After exploring the world of horror and psychological thrillers, legendary Malayalam star Mammootty is expected to return to the genre with his next. On August 17, the superstar took to social media to kick off the project, titled Bramayugam, which will be directed by Rahul Sadasivan whereas it will mark the first production under the banner of Night Shift Studios. Interestingly, this is expected to be a pan India venture that will release in many languages.

Earlier on August 17, the makers unveiled the first look of the film which is a monochrome poster that doesn’t give you much of a sneak peek into the cast. While the film is expected to be a horror thriller, the director Rahul Sadasivan revealed that it is set in the dark ages of Kerala. Further talking about the film, apart from Mammootty the film is also expected to star an ensemble cast which includes Arjun Ashokan, Sidharth Bharathan and Amalda Liz in significant roles.

Recently, the makers Night Shift Studios revealed that the production house was set up to explore the world of horror and thrillers. In a statement released by producer Ramachandra Chakravarthy it was said, “I am glad to be launching Night Shift Studios today.
