South superstar Suriya is all set to return to the big screen in a grand manner with the release of Kanguva, a magnum opus which will be directed by Siva. While anticipation continues to build around this multi-lingual fantasy actioner, Suriya has been winning hearts in his latest photoshoot which features him in an avatar, that will be a part of his next. In collaboration with Avinash Gowariker, this monochrome photoshoot has been currently setting social media on fire.

Suriya features in this intense photoshoot which is shot in black-and-white mode by the renowned celebrity photographer Avinash Gowariker, brother of filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker. The photo features the white hair streaks sported by the Tamil actor even in one of the recently released posters of Kanguva, along with a special photo at the back of his palm. Fans couldn’t stop gushing over it as Suriya added the photo on Instagram with a caption that read, “Post shooting photoshoot! #kanguva Photography by @avigowariker Thank you chief really enjoyed it!”

Many of his fans including actress Shruti Haasan and his Kanguva co-star Bobby Deol dropped fire emojis showering their love on the post. On the other hand, Avinash who did the photoshoot also commented on the post showcasing his excitement as he added, “@actorsuriya Thoroughly enjoyed doing the shoot… Can’t wait for the film to come out!!”

Speaking of Kanguva, the film is a fantasy drama spanning eras and will also see Disha Patani in a key role along with Bobby Deol playing the antagonist. We hear that Suriya has undergone extensive prep not only for performing action sequences but also in terms of fitness and health for the movie. The film is slated to release on June 16 in as many as 38 languages.
