Suriya fans are currently rejoicing the rerelease of Vaaranam Aayiram, one of the most popular films of the Tamil superstar. The Telugu version of the film titled Surya Son of Krishnan was rereleased almost after 15 years after the release of the original and is expected to be doing extremely well in theatres. In fact, the theatres witnessed a massive euphoria as fans were seen rejoicing and dancing in between the show and showering love on the movie.

The video clips showcasing this intense fan frenzy found its way online and since then, has been going viral. Many fans were seen making their way towards the screen and dancing right below it, when the songs were featuring during the screening. When it was originally released in Tamil in 2008, the music of the film, composed by Harris Jayaraj, was loved by the audience and it seems that the album is receiving the same kind of love even from the Telugu audience. From what we hear, the theatres in the city have been running housefull ever since the re-release of Surya Son of Krishnan on August 4.

For the unversed, the rerelease of this drama was expected to be held in July but was postponed due to multiple releases during the week.

Talking about the film Vaaranam Aayiram, the film features Suriya in a double role as the father and son. While Simran plays the wife of the father Suriya aka Krishnan, the film also features Sameera Reddy and Divya Spandana as leading ladies. Directed by Gautham Menon, the film is a family drama that showcases the ever-changing and evolving bond between a loving and supportive father and son, as they experience different emotions, from love to pain, throughout their journey.
