Renowned actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently took to social media to clarify misconceptions surrounding her Myositis treatment expenses. The talented star had previously disclosed her battle with Myositis during the release of her film Yashoda last year and assured her fans that she was undergoing extensive treatment. In a candid Instagram Story post, Samantha addressed rumors that suggested her Myositis treatment cost an exorbitant sum of Rs. 25 crores. Dismissing the misinformation, she stated that the actual expenses were only a fraction of the reported amount, and she was glad to be spending responsibly on her healthcare.

Taking to Instagram Story on Saturday, Samantha wrote, “25 crores to treat myositis!? Someone got you a pretty bad deal. I am glad I am only spending just a small fraction of that. And, do you think I was paid in marbles for the all the work I've done in my career. So, I can easily take care of myself. Thank you Myosotis is a condition thousands suffer from. Let’s please be responsible with the information we put out regarding the treatment.”

As for the work front, Samantha will be soon seen in Citadel India. It will showcase her skills in high-energy action sequences, alongside Varun Dhawan, who plays the male lead. Following Citadel, Samantha's next project is the film Kushi, where she will be paired opposite Vijay Deverakonda. The Telugu movie is set to release on September 1 and will also be available in Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages. The film features a stellar cast including Jayaram, Sachin Khedakar, Murali Sharma, Lakshmi, Ali, Rohini, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Srikanth Iyengar, and Saranya.
