Amid many who have taken to social media to gush about this visually impactful sci-fi mythological venture, popular actor Vijay Deverakonda, who also featured in a cameo in this film, along with Tamil Superstar Suriya decided to send across their best wishes to the team.

Suriya motivates the team to ‘set new milestones’

Readers would be aware that Suriya himself is busy gearing up for the release of one of his most expensive films, Kanguva this year and amid that, he decided to extend the wishes to the team as well including his ‘Darling Prabhas. Suriya took to the social media platform X, aka Twitter, to share the poster of Kalki 2898 AD and said, “Heartiest wishes for an all time blockbuster #Kalki2898AD Set new milestones team!”. He also tagged the director of the film Nag Ashwin, music director Santosh, megastars Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan, producer Ashwini Dutt, actress Deepika Padukone and his ‘darling brother’ Prabhas along with the rest of the cast and crew.

For the unversed, Vijay Deverakonda, as a kind gesture, was a part of the film wherein he essayed the role of Arjuna in a small portion of the film. About Kalki 2898 AD

Set against the backdrop of the dystopian Kashi, the film is set over 2800 years from now and features Prabhas as a bounty hunter who is assigned the task of locating Sumathi – a pregnant woman on the run but he has to fight with the old but powerful Ashwattama, who has vowed to protect the lady and her child at any cost. Also starring Kamal Haasan as Supreme Yaskin, the film features an ensemble cast including Disha Patani.
