Ever since the film marking the first collaboration of renowned and internationally acclaimed filmmaker SS Rajamouli and Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu has been announced, Indian fans can’t keep calm about this high-profile project! With each update fuelling up the anticipation further, the reports added to the momentum where they shared the news that actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas is planning her grand comeback to Indian Cinema with this untitled venture, that is being referred to as SSMB29.

For the past few days, the film has been garnering much attention among Indian audience especially with some videos featuring Mahesh Babu going viral. Not too long ago, the Telugu Cinema’s ‘Prince’ was seen at the Odisha airport where he received a warm welcome from the locals. Adding further to the rumours about the film being shot in this picturesque state, another actor – Prithviraj Sukumaran, who is expected to be essaying a key role, was also seen landing at the same airport. And now, fans saw Priyanka Chopra Jonas too in Odisha confirming the ongoing speculations. The actress was seen taking time and even giving away selfies and photographs to the airhostess after her flight journey. These photos have found its way on social media and fans too have expressed their excitement of watching the actress return to Indian Cinema yet again.

It is a known fact that details of SSMB29 is currently being kept under wraps. However, the makers have promised a never-seen-before cinematic spectacle to the audience as it is expected to be an action-adventure drama set against the backdrop of jungles. A grand muhurat pooja was held in January this year, signalling the beginning of the project which was also attended by Mahesh Babu.

Earlier, SS Rajamouli, without divulging many details, had revealed that the film will have several elements inspired by the Indian mythology. Some reports also suggest that the character of Mahesh Babu bearing resemblance to someone like an Indiana Jones. However, there is no information on the roles played by Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in this entertainer.

Meanwhile, the makers have promised that this filmy extravaganza will not only boast of an international crew but also cast members who will be belonging different film industries. However, there has been no official announcement regarding the same.
