SIIMA 2022: Vijay Deverakonda, Shalini Pandey, Rana Daggubatti & many other South stars attend the award night : Bollywood News

The Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam films are being honoured at the 10th South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) Awards on September 10 and 11. The grandiose event, which will be staged over two days in Bengaluru, has been planned on a grand scale by Brinda Prasad Adusumilli and Vishnu Induri.

Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh, along with some of the biggest names in Telugu and Kannada films, like Allu Arjun, Yash, Vijay Deverakonda, Rana Daggubati, Arjun Bajwa and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan, enhanced the grandeur and glitz of SIIMA 2022 with his electrifying presence at the event. Apart from them, many popular actresses from Sandalwood and Tollywood grace the red carpet of the event such as Shalini Pandey, Chaithra J Achar, Karuunaa Bhushan, Ritika Singh, Pooja Hegde, Athulyaa Ravi, and Amulya Gowda, among others.

Meanwhile, singer Armaan Mallik and director Anees Bazmee also marked their presence. Filmmaker Sukumar and his wife Thabitha Bandreddi also showed up at the ceremony. The winners of Telugu and Kannada movies were honoured on the first day, which was September 10, while the winners of Tamil and Malayalam cinema would be honoured on September 11.

While Arya Sukku and Allu Arjun bagged Best Director and Best Actor, respectively, for Pushpa The Rise, actress Pooja Hegde lifted the Best Actress award for the Akhil Akkineni starrer Most Eligible Bachelor. Whereas, Kamal Haasan won the Lifetime Achievement Award post the massive success of Vikram. On the other hand, Ranveer Singh was presented with the Most Loved Hindi Actor in South India award. The actor made a fleeting appearance on the red carpet and while receiving the award he thanked the SIIMA organizers for presenting it.
