Shruti Haasan opens up about the first look of her international film The Eye : Bollywood News

As fans are awaiting to see Shruti Haasan in one of the biggest and most anticipated releases of the year, Salaar, alongside Prabhas, fans of the actress were in for a major surprise. Earlier this week, the actress-singer took to social media to drop the first look poster of her upcoming international film The Eye which also features her co star Mark Rowley in an intense emotional look and opened up about the venture in the caption.

The Daphne Schmon directorial is making waves across the festival circuit and has been nominated for Best director and Best Director of Photography at the Greek International Film Festival. It has also been nominated for Best Film at the London Independent Film Festival. Sharing the poster as well as her joy with her fans and followers, Shruti wrote, “THE EYE Sometimes you get to be a part of something magical, emotional and truthful - this was that special movie for me - I can’t wait for all of you to see it The Eye has been nominated for best director @daphneschmon and best dop @jameschegwyn at the Greek international film screenings - nominated for best film at the London independent film festival The eye was filmed in corfu and made with love and care for the environment as well , the entire cast and crew worked toward reducing the environmental and carbon impact using the green shoots sustainability platform." In the same post, she also went on to appreciate the entire team of the film adding, “Working with these ?? incredible people has been pure love and magic”. She also tagged them as she expressed her gratitude.

On the home front, Shruti Haasan is gearing up for the release of the much anticipated Salaar, also starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, which will is expected to hit the screens in December. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film is a high adrenaline pumping action entertainer.
