S Shankar shares update about Game Changer and Indian 2; wraps up shooting of Ram Charan before kicking off the Kamal Haasan starrer : Bollywood News

Fans are eagerly awaiting the work of Robot filmmaker S Shankar who has been shuttling between two major films with superstars Ram Charan and Kamal Haasan. In the recent update given by the filmmaker himself, the director revealed that he will be moving on to Indian 2 since he has wrapped up the highly anticipated movie Game Changer. After completing the final schedule of the Ram Charan – Kiara Advani film on May 9, the filmmaker moved on to the Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal starrer on May 10.

In a post shared by S Shankar on Twitter, he revealed that he decided to move on to the Kamal Haasan starrer without taking a break after the wrap up of Game Changer. The filmmaker also revealed the details of the action scene he will be shooting for Indian 2. He said, “Wrapped up #GameChanger ‘s electrifying climax today! Focus shift to #Indian2 ‘s silver bullet sequence from tomorrow!”

Readers would be aware that both the films are one of the most highly anticipated releases of the year and will be pan India projects. Game Changer is a political action thriller that reunites Ram Charan and Kiara Advani after their 2019 release Vinaya Vidheya Rama. The film is expected to feature some of the most stylish and high-octane stunts and also stars Anjali, S. J. Suryah, Jayaram, Sunil, Srikanth, Samuthirakani, and Nassar among others. It is slated to release in Telugu with dubbed versions in Tamil and Hindi.

On the other hand, Indian 2 takes forward the story of the popular character of freedom fighter turned vigilante Senapathy essayed by superstar Kamal Haasan. The film will also star Kajal Aggarwal as the leading lady along with Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth, Samuthirakani, Bobby Simha, Guru Somasundaram, among others. The film has kicked off after much delay in its schedule owing to mishaps on the sets as well as COVID-19.
