Like many projects in Telugu, Ram Charan’s Peddi has gone into a major revamp. The eagerly awaited film won’t be able to make it on March 27, which is Ram Charan’s birthday.
A while ago, this writer spoke to someone very close to the development who confirmed the delay. “Peddi is not ready. Ram Charan feels the film needs to work harder on its action scenes and on its special effects. After the success of Dhurandhar and the failure of The RajaSaab, Ram Charan doesn’t want to take any chances.”
One also hears that a lavish song and dance sequence will be added to Peddi. So, fans would just have to wait a little longer.
In the meanwhile, with Ram Charan’s Peddi exiting the March 27 slot, Pawan Kalyan’s Ustad Bhagat Singh is all set to take over the vacated slot.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi also stars Janhvi Kapoor, Jagapathi Babu, Shiva Rajkumar and Divyenndu in pivotal roles.
